Update on Hawaii State FCU

On February 3 of this year, I wrote about the controversy surrounding the excessive perks the board members of Hawaii State FCU had awarded to themselves and possible conflicts of interest.

This is a follow up on that earlier post.

Members of the credit union appear to have been fed up with the credit union board of directors and voted to oust the board chair Beverly Ing Lee, whose travel agency arranged official board trips frequently at ticket prices higher than what the airlines offered.

Read the story about the election.

  1. I am a long time Hawaii State FCU member & voted for the first time this year, partly thanks to you & your post. Mahalo for keeping us informed, which our former board didn't do very well.

  2. I would like to know whether your pernicious comments were confirmed by facts?!!

Please confrim your sources, and facts. I realize that you will probably hide behind the: First Amendment, but.....

Barring your concrete, physical evidence, I would BET that your suppositions are unfounded, and based upon a prevaricating nature.

    Thank you.

  3. You are clearly, uninformed, and have based your opinions on a prevaricating nature. Good luck to you in your future chioices, and I hope and pray that they will not be: "Media Based" decisions. If this is the case, I suspect that you believe in Sarah Palin.
